Griff inherits a house from his great-aunt and then his career as a test pilot goes down the tubes when he has an accident, so he moves back to sell it and discovers he has to complete her precious porcelain bird collection and bequeath it to a museum before he can get rid of the house. Rose thinks Griff is being thoughtful fulfilling his aunt's dearest wish and is delighted to help, even though she knows he thinks she's eccentric and weird. How will she react when she finds out the truth? Will he be able to convince her he's in love with her?
I didn't quite "get" Rose's reactions at the end, but it was still a charming romance. And despite the way matchmakers and interference usually bothers me, I loved the way the aunt engineered the end, it worked for me this time.
