#170 I Do! I Do! by Pamela Toth (SSE #1855)

Liz is hurt when Dax breaks their engagement with no explanation, so when Mitch offers her a job as his assistant, she takes it. Mitch wants to get closer, but will it be any easier when she's his employee?
I was a bit intrigued by Liz getting upset when he hired her for her looks. They didn't really know each other, how could he have hired her on any other basis? I loved Mitch and how he supported her as his assistant, encouraging her rather than treating her just as a pretty face. I didn't get Grant's reaction when she asked for her old job back, but I loved Mitch and how he tried to make amends

I like the title of this one. It stands out.  So many books, so little time, so many lines, so many I have yet to explore!
