#177 Mistress on Trial by Kate Hardy (HP)

Leo and Rose don't get on because he thinks she's a bad influence on his sister and she thinks he's overbearing and interfering. He's ambitious and aware that he needs a suitable wife and Rose isn't "suitable" but the more time he spends with her, the less important that seems. Will his stuffy colleagues ever accept her or will he have to choose between his career and his love?
I liked the way they came round to the idea that the other wasn't the ogre/flake they'd thought, the way Leo began to question his commitment to his goal and the way he reassessed the family dynamics. I loved his unconditional support of Rose and her bid to help the other victim and the way the epilogue tied that up.
