Stacy is hiding from journalists after her heroic capture of a felon when she was in court to contest a speeding ticket. Jake is a NASCAR driver recovering from a boating accident that killed a friend. They fall in love with no idea who the other is or why they might be famous. Will they be able to continue their relationship under the journalists' spotlights.
Stacy's fears seemed a little over the top, though I can fully sympathise with not wanting to live in the public eye. I felt she overreacted after his win, but liked the way they worked things out, especially given the short timeline.

NASCAR books and had wondered if I'd enjoy a shorter book as much, but
