Two stories. In Rachel Lee's A Soldier for all Seasons, Jon is home from Afghanistan for Christmas and meets park ranger Melinda, a loner with nightmares of her own. Will a husky pup persuade them to open up? In Cathy's Christmas at His Command, Hank Renshaw is in Germany as a bodyguard to Ginger Landis when shooting breaks out and they have to escape together. They can only trust each other and find danger a lot more exciting than anticipated. Are Christmas wedding bells in store?
I always love Cathy Mann's books and this was no exception. I loved all the little Christmas details and the reminders of Darcy and Alicia (and have noted the happy event in their future) was LOL at Ginger's sons' untimely arrival. Rachel Lee's story was comforting and inspirational,

This was a very good read,
and, of course, I love reading books by Catherine Mann! Glad you liked it!

Cathy Mann fan!
Hi Sadhbh,
As you well know I am a Mann fan! I enjoyed this book, as always entertaining & well written by Ms. Mann. Part of the appeal, for me, is that she knows more about military life than the rest of us civilians! Can't wait for the next book.
Happy Easter weekend.
Take care, happy reading,

Hi Lynn, Hi Donna
Nice to see other Cathy Mann fans in here - do you know if there's a HQN out this summer and what it'll be called?

I really enjoyed these
I really enjoyed these stories. Cathy Mann is a great writer and both stories tugged at the heart strings.

Hi Joyce - I'm glad you enjoyed them
I tend to prefer her Wingmen Warrior books and I loved the glimpses
we saw in these, and the reference to Mako at the end was nice (though
I'd read Out of Uniform first)
