#198 Hired for the Boss's Bed - Robyn Grady (HP)

Serena is ambitious and therefore delighted when she's awarded the biggest account at the ad agency she works for, but then she realises she's attracted to her boss and they have a one-night-stand which gets a little complicated. How will it affect her promotion prospects and travel plans? David was burned before when a lover he promoted just took off and left him in a mess. Will history repeat itself if Serena gets a better offer?
This was a very impressive first book, I found Serena and David to be extremely believable and got caught up in their story, to the extent that Serena's manic behaviour got on my nerves a bit. I thought she was a little too aggressive about her ambitions when David hadn't even tried to persuade her to stay, but maybe that's because I've never been particularly ambitious careerwise. The romance was hot and fun and I loved the way that although she had regrets about changing her plans, Serena didn't hesitate to be there for her dad. Great romantic ending, I loved David's conclusions.
