2 Erotic Short Stories

Nights in Black Satin by Rachel Carrington, Loose ID, 93 pgs.

Noelle wakes up next to a dead man, as far as practical jokes go this time her cousin has gone too far. Not only is she stuck on earth with no way to get back home to Betony, she’s wanted by the police. To make things worse, the sudden appearance of the dead man’s nephew has brought unexpected complications. Jacob Sanders is stunned to find a beautiful blond standing next to his dead uncle. What’s even more shocking is his attraction to her. How can he be attracted to the woman who might have killed his uncle?

I can’t believe I let this book sit on the TBR shelf for so long. This short story is hot, funny, and well paced. Once again, Carrington doesn’t disappoint.

Blackmailed by AnnMarie McKenna, Samhain Publishing, 197 pgs

Brianna Wyatt’s father is blackmailing her into doing what he wants by threatening to send her brother to an institution. She would do anything to keep that from happening, including go along with his demented scheme of her getting pregnant by Cole Masters—a man who’s been rumored to share a woman with his best friend, and who leaves Brianna’s innocent senses in shambles.

Cole is sure he’s about to be blackmailed—why else would a man whore his daughter? But there’s something about her that neither Cole nor his best friend, Tyler Cannon, can deny. They want her, and don’t hesitate for a second on making their own offer. Her brother’s protection for her body. When danger flirts with Brianna’s life, there is nothing they won’t do to keep her safe. Including listening to what their hearts are saying.

I liked it and I didn’t like it. The threesome part didn’t bother me. The dominance over Brianna I had some issues with. But the overall story line moved at a good pace and the entire story was well written.

I put these 2 together because with all the 'extra' stuff taken out they hit just over 200pgs. Page totals given are the entire book 'extras' and all.
