THis series remains interesting. Raine and Cicso, her search-and-rescue dog, get imbroiled in the mysterious death of a woman whose dog is the only witness. More problems with her on-again, off-again relationship with Buck. And Raine gets introduced to Dancing with Dogs... That's a real dog sport: I've seen it on TV, and it is really something. Bodies keep turning up and the mystery deepens. What next? It would be helpful if you had read the previous books in the series only for understanding of Buck and Raine's relationship. The rest is explained in this book, allowing the book to stand alone.
