I think we will make it
I see you started in April like I did and have blogged more books than me. I have some more to blog as I am sure most of us do. I can't go back and blog the books I read earlier in the year as a lot of them were library books but over the last days remaining in July I will at least try to get the ones blogged that I have sitting here.
When I get a little money I buy books, and then if any is left I buy food and clothes..-- Erasmus
I'm game!
Unfortunately, I'm up-to-date on my blogging, so will only be adding one or two or three between now and then . . .
If someone emailed Mary-Kate and SHE blogged (b/c she hasn't in a couple of weeks) and if someone else went to Sadhbh's to give her a break from the home fires, well, she could catch up on her blogging, and if we got JaninieBean to catch up on hers, well . . . we could get to 20k.
I still think that we can get to 100K if we get our friends and family to at least give us lists of what they've read and mail it in for them. I know, I know, they're grownups, they should do it themselves, but while my extended family all think this challenge is great, none of them are motivated enough to join or even do the list til I nag them. I expect to mail in at least 25. I'm hoping for waaay more than that from my church and YMCA. Actually, I'm hoping for more than that just from my family. The problem there is getting the list from them. They don't keep track of their reads, so it's a matter of making them sit with me to do a list.
Actually, our little eHQ-DFW group is having lunch in a couple of weeks, and one of the gals who doesn't do the online blogging will be bringing me her list of books read this year (barring life getting in the way) and that could be a lot of books. I think she reads at least one a day . . .
But those won't show up on the counter. Hmmm . . . I wonder how many book reviews have been mailed in to Harlequin?
