#201 Home to the Doctor by Mary Anne Wilson (HAR #1171)

Dr Morgan Kelly is acting as locum for her father's practice on Shelter Island when she hears a loud crash some yelling, another crash, glass breaking and then silence, and she finds a man with a broken leg in a cast so she helps him to bed but then she learns his company is cancelling her father's lease so he'll be out of a home and a surgery very shortly. Can she convince Ethan Grace that there's more to life than business or has she fallen in love with a heartless modern pirate?
I couldn't get why this modern businessman who seemed to take good healthcare for granted just didn't understand the importance of actually keeping a doctor's surgery open on an isolated island, especially given his own state of health and the near miss of one of his employees/friends. So given that he didn't seem to understand that, his turnaround seemed a little too miraculous, but it was quite an enjoyable romance.
