Isabel is a PR representative for NASCAR sponsors, about to get a coveted promotion to VP, aware that her nickname is Scary Isabel but also conscious of how much she owes her uncle and boss. There's a rule about not dating drivers, especially ones working for other sponsors, but Isabel and Cade Garrison can't seem to resist each other. Cade has to concentrate on driving and finding a sponsor for the NEXTEL Cup series after he punched his previous sponsor and lost all chance at that year's NEXTEL cup. The last thing he needs is another scandal. Will they have to choose between their career and their affair? What will they choose?
I couldn't really understand why everything was such a big deal for Isabel because the solution to her problem was so obvious. She was making a big fuss about responsibility and duty while at the same time she had extremely immature reactions. Cade showed a lot more patience than I would have with an equally indecisive man. I enjoyed the family dynamics and her colleagues and the NASCAR background. Nice collaborative romance.
