#204 Pawn by Carla Cassidy (Bombshell #98)

Lynn is blackmailed again by the FBI into helping them identify which container holds a dirty bomb, so she insists Nick Barnes be her contact. He's working undercover but agrees to handle her for her night job and the sparks between them re-ignite. The FBI have warned her that if she's caught she's on her own. Can she trust Nick with her heart when he's obviously keeping secrets from her?
I loved the way the suspense was set up and the scenes with the containers were fun, especially when she realised she'd lost her contact button. I loved the Bombshell way she kept her head and also how things worked out once they were kidnapped. Very enjoyable

Bombshells

I know I've said this before, but I miss the Bombshell line.  This one was a good one, wasn't it?  Carla Cassidy is one of the authors I always enjoy reading but for some reason forget to buy all her books.  So then I end up scrambling to find the ones I missed when I remember her.  Shame on me!

SRS and Blaze lines are becoming more Bombshell-like, so that's something  to be grateful for at least

I was only just getting to the idea of the Everlasting line when it was stopped too

Just in case you didn't know.

March's Member of the Month!

Thanks

FF for the link!

Sadhbh, I'll have to start checking more of the SRS and Blaze books out then.  I did actually buy two Blazes yesterday, which is a shocker as normally only one every few months appeals to me but this time I saw two that did.  And I had just gotten hooked on the Everlasting line so they got rid of the line just as I discovered it!  Frown
