Book 2 of the Cedar Cove series covers Grace (Olivia's best friend), her divorce, her new relationship, Olivia and Jack's problems getting together because of his son and O's ex. We find out what happened to Dan and Grace's closure isn't as she expected. Zach and Rosemary are heading for a divorce but O has an unorthodox solution to joint custody which set up book 3.
Here is where DM began to lose me, partially because of the names and the exaggerated problems all through the book. Struck me as over the top how people who supposedly loved each other couldn't even sit down and talk. If you don't look for solutions, you haven't much hope of finding good ones.

Hmmm...
I was so excited to "discover" Debbie Macomber. I hate to see it shattered by name problems, etc. It amazes me how many fact-based errors sneak into romance novels. Makes me appreciate the honkin' team of editors I had for my tech books even more.
Do you think I could survive reading these in between other books? I'm wondering if that would ease the pain of the name issues. Or is a story typically easier to follow if you have all the backstory fresh in your mind?
Take care,

Addy for your blog
My dearest Gnat,
Could you send me a link to your blog? If I have to go through your profile page to read your reviews one at a time, I won't take the time. But I enjoy reading your blogs, so if you have a link, could you send it to me?

Good books
Hi Jill - bear in mind that I read this in my inlaws, which is not
the best reading environment, while also trying to cope with overactive
excited children and bronchitis.
I'm in a bit of a reading slump,
so rather than take it out on the books, when a book doesn't grab me I
just leave it there and move on
So there are five or six books
)
that I've started and not continued because my mood was off (two Miras,
a NEXT, a Duet, an SRS and a Blaze
Not like me, it must be the antibiotics
Keep
reading them - book three is Zach and Rosemary's story and given how
much they got on my nerves in this book, they're going to need a lot of
help (knowing that books 4, 5, 6 and 7 are upstairs waiting might
motivate me once I'm over the bronchitis), alternatively I could go the
housework route, that usually gets me over my slumps

Dream Team 2008 Challenge blogs
I'm in the same boat....
I'm having a difficult time maneuvering around the blogs. I'm hoping the formation of the team blog will resolve that. It's hard when I go tunneling through profiles, find something to comment on then have to go tunneling back again to see if anyone responded or had something more to say. I love eHarlequin and all the wonderful people I meet here, but I don't have all day!
I'm looking forward to a few enhancements that make it easier, because I really love the blog option.
