Lillian Bowman and Marcus Lord Westcliff can't stand each other until they start kissing and realise they can't drag themselves apart. Lillian thinks it's her magic perfume so she uses it to blackmail him into persuading his mother to act as sponsor to Lillian and Daisy. Marcus is expected to make a good marriage but he realises he's in love and really wants a life with Lillian. So he announces his intention to propose. Is this Lillian's HEA or will his mother find a way to throw a spanner in the wedding works?
It was very amusing to see how Marcus and Lillian gave in to the attraction between them and also to see Lord Vincent, although I didn't really expect that twist in the story.
