Daisy still hasn't found a husband so her father issues an ultimatum, if she hasn't found one by the end of the season she'll have to marry Matthew Swift. Daisy remembers Matthew as a gangly ambitious employee but then discovers it's not just his ambitions that have grown. If it weren't for the ultimatum she might even want to marry him. But Matthew has a secret and seems determined to keep the Atlantic between them. What is the big secret that might keep them apart forever?
Nice conclusion to the series. I liked the secret and the faith his friends showed in him, I also liked the way the evidence of his success pointed towards his innocence. Nice historical linked series
