Indi Wilcox is furious with Todd when he reschedules his appointment with Benjamin, a child who asked her to arrange a Miracle. So she tracks him down so that he'll keep his promise before it's too late for Benjamin. Todd is completely thrown by his first encounter with probable imminent death and decides to turn himself around if the thought of him winning can keep Benjamin going even that little bit longer. He pulls in favours to get Benjamin included in trials for a new drug, and falls in love with Indi, but she's been hurt, she can't have kids, her beloved nephew died of the illness that's killing Benjamin and she can't seem to trust in their love. Will Todd manage to convince Indi she can count on him? Will hope keep Benjamin alive long enough for a cure to be found?
I loved the way Todd turns himself around, I found Indi annoying but I loved how Todd just kept plugging away and never lost faith. Benjamin was great. (this is a disappointing blog but I was trying to get caught up before the kids came home, I mentioned it to DH and what has he done since I mentioned it but interrupt me and talk to me like he never talked to me when I was just surfing! Is there a special male annoyance gene that gets triggered by female concentration, or what?)

LOL
Ya can't ignore them and ya can't shoot them.... they just get in the way every once in a while. LOL I always tell new moms not to teach the baby MOM, because from then on your life is not your own.
Sounds like you really liked this book. I believe I have it in THE MTN. I will have to find it.
