JT and his half-brothers are all unhappy about their father's ultimatum to get married and have kids on the way within a twelve-month deadline otherwise forfeit all they hold dear, but none of them want to deprive the others so they all agree to it. JT is aware of the probability of failure and so he starts making alternative arrangements and then identifies one possible wife candidate but though that's his head talking, his heart identifies a completely different candidate, although he first thinks he's only trying to help Amy find a solution to her grandmother problem. Then he gets involved both with repairs to the home where the old lady stays and a fundraising suggestion. But how will Amy react when she has no idea who he is?
The blackmail/interference had me boiling from the start although JT's reaction calmed me down a little, however if I had been the author the final chapters would have been totally different, not the fairytale illogical solution which made it clear that this was fiction. In my version Harry wouldn't have had a family in the end, and would have had no access to any of his grandchildren. So he had good intentions, so $$00&# what! They don't cut it when you're interfering in other people's free will, neither does the big handout when you've finally got your way. I might have to pick up the others in the mini-continuity to find out the brothers' stories.
