Kinsey is hiding out from paparazzi after her ex puts naked photos of her on the internet. Mitch is fleeing men intent on killing him when Kinsey unwittingly becomes part of his getaway plans. He sees her as a pampered socialite, who'd want a husband with a 9-5 job, but she insists on being part of his cover when he tries to eliminate the men who are trying to kill her as an inconvenient witness, and she sticks with him and helps him when he's outnumbered and surrounded by killers. When he gets abducted and tortured, Mitch finally realises she's not just a pretty face.
When this arrived, I didn't pounce on it. Surprising! I wasn't sure whether I'd really enjoy it as much as the Charlies and the Medusas, so where as a Medusa would have been the first book taken from the box, this wasn't. Then I rapped myself on the knuckles! Come on! This IS a Cindy Dees and I'd read and enjoyed the online read, why was I hesitating? Any of you wondering whether you might be disappointed after the Medusas, lay those fears to rest. This is an excellent tribute to Spec Ops and Kinsey more than did her bit. In fact my only problem NOW is that Cindy's next SRS isn't out until August. That's a LONG time away

Amen!
I think I should have saved this awhile longer, because August seems far away right now! I really enjoyed this book, but then, never read a Cindy Dees authored book that I didn't like!
