Will O'Malley is in a relationship with Paul, but he still wants Emma, his employee and his brother's ex-fiancée. But he doesn't do anything because he feels guilty about Paul not understanding. Emma is attracted to Will but won't do anything about it because of Paul. Paul can see they're attracted but hasn't pushed the issue though he has nothing against the idea of adding Emma to his and Will's relationship, because he knows Will would eventually like children. But although Emma's mother is encouraging her to go out more, what would she think if Emma hooked up with two men, rather than one?
I don't know how prevalent alternative lifestyles are now, I loved the story because they all had genuine feelings for each other but I could definitely understand a grandmother's reticence, wondering how her grandchildren would be treated in school. I loved the way they worked out the proposal. Very enjoyable.

The life style isn't one that I could deal with ~ personally ~ but I love fiction just for that reason... imagination's great! And everything that I've read of Amanda's has been excellent.
