Kevin has been feeling guilty about his break up with his ex so he goes to see how she is, only to find out she died and her sister is minding the daughter he never knew existed. Parenthood is a major shock but a good one and there's no way he's going to abandon his daughter, but can he really press for custody when he doesn't have a real job or much of a future. When he gets a good offer in a different state, will he take his daughter from her aunt?
I liked Kevin in the earlier books and enjoyed this one, how he tried to be honourable and do what was best for his daughter, how the discovery he was a father made him more understanding of the baby's grandfather's attitude.
