AJ and her stepbrother have relational problems which come to a head when she insists on buying a problem stallion. Her brother refuses to let her board the horse at the family stables so she has to throw herself on the mercy of Devlin, the man she wants to hire to train the stallion for the biggest showjumping even of the season. But even though AJ and Devlin fall in love, she's still keeping secrets from him. Will the secrets force her to choose between love and her career?
While the writing was up to JB's usual high standards, the story didn't resonate with me and so it isn't one of my favourites. I can understand someone who loves horses and for whom it resonates finding it excellent.

I loved this book. I read it
I loved this book. I read it soon after it was released and haven't touched it since then, but I remember it being very emotional and isn't the hero hurt?
