Sara and Zara are twins but Zara is jealous of her sister and has to be the centre of attention. She steals Dr Dan, the only man Sara is interested in, and then Sara agrees to be a surrogate mother when Zara can't have kids, but when a car runs Sara down, she's convinced Zara was driving it. Then when Dr Dan gets home, he finds Zara unconscious. Has she attempted suicide? Dan knows he wants a divorce – he realises he married the wrong sister – but can he divorce one sister to marry her twin straight away?
The parents were fascinatingly awful, I loved Dan and how he stood up for Sara and didn't let her parents walk all over her.

Definitely, good words to describe it. I rad this one thinking it would be a sweet little Christmas story and I was pleasantly surprised by this book...not at all what I expected and but I sure loved it.

Actually looking back on it, the mother was worse than the
father, which then made him bad for not defending Sara.
Either way I wouldn't want to have or be parents like that!
