Claire and Ethan got married in Vegas because Claire was trying to escape her father, but he tracked them down and paid Ethan off. So she went home to work for her father, though she refused to marry the man he wanted. After her Himalayan biking trip for charity, Claire realises she needs to apologise to Ethan if she wants to put the past behind her but he doesn't want to know. Then the diary gets stolen so she tracks him down in his hideaway to warn him their wedding might become public knowledge and finds out he never cashed her father's cheque. Will her father try to interfere if they get back together?
Her father drove me nuts, not to mention the way he sacked her. She's better off without him. I loved the epilogue.

I enjoyed this one. It was the first I ever read by her but now have read 3. Love her writing. She often seems to have these characters I love to hate. She is one of my favorite HR authors.
