Jackson Hawke foreclosed on her mother's loan to take over the family hotel but Laura wasn't going to give up. She made a crazy bet with him that if she lost she would spend a night with him, but if she won he would write off the $15M debt. Jack's afraid she'll ask her boyfriend, but Laura doesn't know Jack is Matt's stepbrother. When she finds out she doesn't know if it was all an elaborate plot, can she trust Jack?
Nice New Orleans setting and nice romance, but a little too much sisterly interference to suit me. I didn't get the mother's attitude and lack of worry at all. What I loved most about this was Laura and her sisters' attitudes to family and divorce and how it didn't have to mean divorce from the people they'd grown to love.
