Adele and Nick are married but have been separated since he went to Hollywood for nine months. Now he's back ready to work things out but Adele is still furious and wants a divorce. Or does she? She agrees to go to his mother's party in Scotland but they get stranded on the way. Will the enforced contact cause them to break up or make up?
Adele drove me nuts and her NOT friend Mona was worse. There was this big deal about her being the adult in the relationship, but someone who isn't willing to compromise in a marriage shouldn't be married at all because they're not adult. I mean 9 months apart for a married couple doesn't need to be the end of the world and blaming Nick for the communication problems when she refused to take his phone calls? Hellooo, having a blonde moment Adele? I didn't get that it was up to Nick to make the running, and I don't think he should have so I didn't buy the HEA. Maybe I'm too old to be reading about TSTL twenty-somethings (but I suspect I was too old for that when I was a teenager!) I really pity Adele having a friend like Mona, but then she might not have had marriage problems without her.

I have to agree that marraige takes work and compromise. Sadly too many people give up too quick.

This was well-written, I just didn't like Adele, and maybe I reacted exactly the way Fiona hoped readers would react
