#296 Emmy and the Boss by Penny McCusker (HAR #1196)

Nick hired Emmy because the bank wouldn't give him a loan otherwise, but he's convinced he doesn't need her. Emmy falls in love with Nick, not realising he never intends to implement her suggestions. He thinks she has commitment issues and is convinced he can "fix" her, but won't let her return the compliment so she walks away. Will they sort out their disagreement?
Didn't like either Nick or her friend. What made them so perfect they had all the answers for her? Why could they not leave her to work out her own answers in her own time?
One quote about Emmy's ex had me LOL
Emmy: "He said trying to steal my furniture was a cry for help, that he was just trying to keep something of mine close."
Lindy: "A normal man would settle for panties."
