30 DAYS to getting over the DORK you used to call your boyfriend- by Clea Hantman
• Cute how-to book for young women who find them selves dumped

• This is a really cute, chick-lit type of book for high school and college girls. Clea Hantman knows how to talk that age group’s language. It follows the five stages of grief to help girls get over the dork who dumped them and to see that they are worth better than him. It does it by dividing each stage of grief into six short lessons, one each day for 30 days, with actions to take. Some actions are writing, some are getting together with girl friends for a specific activity, some are about finding your passion in life. Each day is another step in self discovery. Each day’s lesson ends with a recommended pop song to go with the mood. The end of the book lists famous people who were dumped. Men and women.
I found this book on the library’s “Just In” shelf and I checked it out as research and found it very helpful for the story I’m currently revising. I’d recommend it for any young woman who feels there must be something wrong with her if her boyfriend breaks it off.

April Mini Challenge: It’s raining Men
Well, this book not only tells how to get over the dork, but how to learn from him what you don’t want in a boyfriend. So that when it does actually rain men, you know who will be worth your time.

RE: 30 DAYS
Sounds like it could be a fun read (though I know that being broken off with that special guy or gal is anything but fun).
