This was hillarious. Or maybe I just have a strange funny bone, lol.
Lacey is a divorced photographer who is soured on the whole idea of love and especially marriage. She has watched her Mother and Grandmother head to the aisle way too many times and she is deterimined not to follow in their path. She is trying to complete a Christmas photo shoot of her animals (except its Feb) when her dog discovers a man in her back yard who has been shot. Chase is a police officer who has been set up and almost killed. Now he needs a place to hide from the bad guys AND the police force while he tries to figure things out. Lacey isn't going to be taken in by his smooth talk... or his sexy overtures.. is she?
There is suspense, there is slapstick humor with a wacky cast of characters, there is major sizzle (think Lori Foster!) and a great romance. Loved it!
