AJ has been in love with Cord since she was five, but she might as well be invisible and she's tired of waiting for him to notice her. I loved the way AJ stood firm and refused to get married for the "wrong" reasons and I liked how Cord backed off and took the time to romance her and give her time when he finally realized what he was doing wrong.
