MaryJane hires the Colby qgency to find out who killed her sister Rebecca because her remains were found in the old Colby building. Shane is an ex-Marshal whose partner "stole" his wife and stepson and he is determined to run the investigation his way, but MaryJane keeps butting in. Is Rebecca really dead? Who is trying to ensure MaryJane drops the investigation? When Shane's stepson is kidnapped, will Shane and MaryJane manage to discover the truth and save him in time?
Effective intrigue, yummy romance, nice ending.

there are very few of her books I haven't read, actually. And two of those are fairly recent ones that I just haven't gotten to. She's one of those authors I went back and found I think all of her older books. Hmmmm.... need to doublecheck that, actually! And yes, I'd forgotten about her Bombshells but those were awesome!
