New to Me - This Author I found I have several of her books including the one before this one but I was compelled to read this one now.
Priscilla Jayne Morgan is starting her Steal The Thunder tour with her band. She just fired her mom for cooking her books and is not telling anyone why she fired her. She took off without telling anyone where she was going. Mom of course is really upset and hitting the tabloids with her 'Oh poor me' quotes and stories and garning a lot of bad press.
Wild Rose records has spent a lot of money on this tour and have hired Semper Fi Investigations to make sure she shows up for her appearances. Jared Hamilton and PJ go way back to when she was 13 and living on the streets of Denver because mom had kicked her out (the tabloids didn't know about that either). He hunts her down and they come together with hugs and then clash. She is actually driving to her first stop on the tour and stopping at different town along the way to playing with the local musicians at bars and honky tonks and garning fresh good press where ever she lands.
PJ had given her heart to Jared when they lived on the streets 15 years ago but figured (with momma's snide comments of course) that no rich boy would ever look at trailer trash like her. Jared had tried to get in touch with her but the number she gave him was disconnected. They are getting a chance to reconnect... gradually. She is having a fabulous time on the tour and ... oh yeah... there is the stalker.
PJ had wanted that special bond of love with her momma that she had seen with Jared's sister and her daughter but her mom failed at every turn. She longed to be loved for herself. Jared was never good enough for his father - nothing he did was ever right and didn't feel he had any good qualities for someone to love.

I love her books and have been saving this one. Reading your review I think I might just have to read it very soon :-)

I have enjoyed all the Susan Andersen books I have read. Did you know this was a connected book the last of a series of three? I love reading connected book & have a habit of wanting to start with the first one & reading all of them!! I should learn how to put the pictures in my review or on my profile page under what I am reading!!

Donna -She wrote in the front of this book that PJ had grabbed her from the previous book and that she didn't want to jump 15 years in one year so she waited 3 years to give PJ and Jared their book. Like I said, I know I have several others of hers including the one PJ & Jared came from which I believe is Hot & Bothered. I will get to that one. I have been wanting to read this one since others have raved about it.
Berlin - I think you will enjoy it. It was a fun read.
