Michael Bradshaw meets Leslie at the Center for paranormal research where she's the resident psychologist and at first she's fascinated by his abilities and then gobsmacked when he reveals that they were illusions, that he's "just" a magician. However her disappointment is abnormal, could she be falling in love? What is Michael's real reason for getting involved with the center? Can Leslie and Michael's love last when it's founded on lies and deception?
This one didn't work for me, I fell in love with the Michael of the first chapter and so was totally disappointed and upset by the rest and so although the lack of trust and communication was a inherent part of the plot I didn't like it. It's a great ad for the need for honesty and trust in relationships
