#36 Needed: Her Mr. Right - Secrets We Keep - by Barbara Hannay Harl Romance #3976, 2007

NEW TO ME - This Author

Simone Grey accepted the challenge of cycling 400 kilometers in the Himalayas in China and came back with a determination to clear up some issues in her past.  She met two other women - Belle Davenport - a early morning TV hostess from England and Claire Mayfield who worked in her father's company in Chicago. They teamed up and shared everything during the trek including secrets they have held for years.  As the Executive Editor of City Girl magazine, she was expected to write an article of the cycling challenge so she wrote everything in her diary about the trip, including the secrets shared with her new friends.

When she arrived home the diary was missing. She remembered it was in the rucksack in the airport but it was missing when she got home. She quickly emailed her new friends and explain what happened.  When Ryan Tanner calls and tells her that he has something of hers and invites her to lunch she is wary. When she finds out he is a journalist, she cannot believe he didn't read the diary and tries to force him into a corner.

Ryan Tanner is the son of JD Tanner a multi millionaire industrialist with a penchant of interferring in his youngest son's life, work and personal relationships. Ryan and his father have a story relationship and dad's interference has caused him a lot of grief.  He didn't read Simone's diary but does not know how to prove it to her.

They both have deep issues and secrets which they learn to deal with throughout the book.  This is the second in the series and I enjoyed it very much.
