A great conclusion to the Divine Trilogy (sad to see it end)...

The story begins with Rhiannon gaining consciousness within the tree that is her living tomb- in Oklahoma.  Anger and the feeling of betrayal in remembering Shannon was the one the goddess claimed and not herself, lead her to temptation with Pryderi- known as the triple-faced God.  He makes her a deal- if she'll give herself and her daughter to him, he'll give her Partholon.  She convinces him to free her so she can pledge herself. 

She finds herself free and about to give birth- she gives herself but before she can give her daughter, others come and Pryderi leaves.  After the birth of her daughter, she realizes her wrongs, begs Epona to forgive her and relinquish her from Pryderi and help her protect her daughter... Morrigan.

Eventually Morrigan learns the truth of her life.  In the right place at the right time, her intense anger and grief propel her to the world of Partholon.  A new world where she is not recognized as anyone, she faces the challenges of not only survival in an unknown world, but the darkness that begins to crowd her.
