#40. Elijah - Jacquelyn Frank

Some feelings you just can't fight.

He is known as the Warrior Captain - a master of every weapon, a fierce soldier sworn to protect his kind. Powerful, relentless, merciless, Elijah has always won every battle he's ever taken on - until now. Ambushed by necromancers, he is left for dead only to be discovered by the woman who could very well deliver the final blow... Siena, the Lycanthrope Queen.

With three centuries of warring, little more than a decade of uneasy peace has existed between the Lycanthropes and Elijah's people. Now, after a lifetime of suspicion, the warrior in Elijah is consumed with a different battle - winning Siena's heart by giving her pleasure beyond all boundaries. What starts as attraction and arousal son burns into a passion with consequences that will echo through the ages for both their people. And as would-be enemies become inseparable lovers, another threat approaches, one with the power to destroy them all...

Surrender to the night.

I love this series. They’re quite amazing. I’ve only read three of the four that are out… Unfortunately, my bookstore is out of Noah’s book or something – maybe I’m looking the wrong section? I have no idea. But I digress. Did I mention that I go off on random tangents? Well… I do. But back to the book. I couldn’t stop reading this, it was very entertaining. It’s very Romeo and Juliet. They’re both so stubborn, it was… what’s the word… I suppose adorable will have to do. Very good book. I definitely recommend it. =)

Happy reading,
~Kristen

If life gives you lemons, give them to a lemonade stand and read!

I love these books

I just finished this book.

I read the first one (Jacob) not knowing what to expect then Gideon took it further.   Each one just makes me want more. According to Ms Franks website, book 4(Damien), comes in June, then book 5 (Noah),  comes in October.  I love all these characters....bring them on.
