#40: Vampire, Interrupted. Lynsay Sands, Avon, March 2008

Score: 4.5

FINALLY we have Marguerite's story!  After reading all the other Argeneau family romances where Marguerite had a hand in matchmaking, it is nice to see her finally find her own life mate.

It's going to be hard to review this book without giving spoilers.  There are so many unexpected revelations and twists that I don't want to spoil.  Suffice it to say, Marguerite and Tiny have gone to Europe searching for Christopher Notte's mother.  THe book opens when a masked figure trys to behead Marguerite in bed!!!  Talk about a wake-up call!

Then Julius Notte comes to England, disturbed by his son's insistance on finding his mom.  When he realizes that Marguerite is a target, he and his sidekicks stick around to try to keep Marguerite and Christopher safe.

Really loved this one.  You could read it without the other stories, it just might be confusing trying to keep all the family members straight.

Love this series

Love this series and this one was great! I never expected this one to turn out the way it did until right at the end it dawned on me. Quite a bit of mystery in this one.

Mystery, yes

Yes,

It had me fooled! I had thought this was the last one of the series, but  I guess a few more are coming yet cause there are still some unmarried family members, LOL.
