Well I just cried my way through another great romance by Caroline Anderson! A super sweet, feel good story to curl up with. THe ending is really emotional.
Emily is a divorcee with two very small children. Harry is a war correspondant who saves a street girl who has been raped repeatedly from her life, marrying her, sending her home to America to live a better life. Only she is killed and they only keep her alive long enough to save her baby. Harry falls for Kizzy immediately and instinctively heads back to his hometown to figure out how he's going to take care of her.
I'm really looking forward to hunting down the rest of Ms. Anderson's backfiles over the coming months. They are all awesome
