#41. Cole Dempsey's Back in Town - Suzanne McMinn

Cole Dempsey was back...and there was hell to pay

It had been fifteen years since Cole Dempsey had set foot in Azalea Bend, Louisiana-or laid eyes on Bryn Louvel, the beautiful girl who'd betrayed him. He had come home to uncover the truth no matter what the cost...even if it meant risking his heart to Bryn once more.

Little was left of the tender boy she had adored before her sister's murder turned their carefree world upside down. Now Bryn was completely vulnerable to an embittered stranger hell-bent on raking up painful memories and rekindling a passion that burned even hotter. She couldn't deny Cole Dempsey was a man on a mission. But was it a second chance at happiness...or revenge?

I adored this one. Very good book. Good mystery, good story, good book. I don’t know. Lately it seems like I’m just reading to do something, not because I like reading. I rarely find those ‘oh my gosh that was amazing’ anymore, when I used to think that about nearly every book I read. Either I’m getting more specific tastes suddenly, or I’m just getting bored. Either way I’m not exactly thrilled… Oh well. It’ll pass. It always does. =)

Happy reading,
~Kristen

hi

you seemed pretty positive about this book and I wish I had it because I love stories set in Louisiana.  You are right though..... this too shall pass.  Hope you find something terrific.

Yes I am a readalholic and I don't want the 12 step program!!!

Hopefully =)

I know.. I love my used bookstore. All sorts of treasures. =)

Hopefully it's just the temporary depression of PMS. lOl.

Chocolate cures all though. I did find a pretty good book that so far is helping with the drought of okay books.

The Immortal Highlander by Karen Marie Moning. Have you read it?

Happy reading,
