The further I get into this series the more I'm amazed at how different each character is, and how the characters determine the story. They've all taken on a life of their own and I am enjoying getting to know the Bravos immensely!
And as Katherine said this is definitely a BISHRS!
When originally released, Marriage by Necessity was SSE #1161, 1998.
One minor note: on the back of the book in the reason for Nate's marrying Megan, it says Megan's *grandfather's* will... but it was her *father's* will.
Just a minor point, but one that kinda sticks with me ya know?

MY NOTES:
Again there was a lot of heartfelt emotion in this story, but there was more of a lightness in Nate's than was in Cash's story. The difference could be laid right at the door of Megan, also known as Meggie May. She's a wonderful person; very much a part of the land, a rancher through-and-through. When she gives her heart, it's complete and forever and her heart has been Nate's since she was 16. Nate's life experiences weren't all that great, until he came to the Rising Sun Ranch when he was 14. His father had died when he was younger and by the time he'd hit his teen years his mother could no longer control him. She did what she thought was best and sent him to his grandfather and there Nate found a family. But the hurt from his childhood has lived on and, while he cares a lot for Megan, he just can't risk his heart again.
But Megan is determined and she adds so much to Nate's life. A beautiful, heartwarming and fun story with the requisite pain of growth. Another Rimmer winner!
