Totally disappointed in the way SM handled the brother issue, the whole mortgage issue gave me bad vibes, because you shouldn't have to watch your back against your family. When I found out their reasons I was disgusted and mystified that Zoe just fit in to the whole family without calling them to task on mishandling the situation. This spoiled my enjoyment of the book and brought it down from very good to okay
