Well this book kept me hooked and on the edge of my seat until the very end. The tie-in with the previous book was excellently done; I just wish that I had the next book in hand! A story that really made me feel wonderful at the perfect ending. Superb!

8th in the Bravo Family Ties series
SYNOPSIS:
Jonas Bravo is the oldest son and heir of the L.A. Bravos. He grew up privileged and wealthy, travelled the world and dated the world's most beautiful women. But appearances are definitely not everything. For all his outward success, Jonas is lonely and alone. His mother, Blythe, has recently died, leaving him responsible for his young sister ~ and a will that's got Jonas hot under the collar.
Emma Lynn Hewitt was originally a recipient of Blythe Bravo's support and investment when she wanted to open a high class dog grooming business. But over the past five years she'd grown very close to Blythe and losing her to sudden illness was devastating. And now, due to Blythe's will, she finds that she has been made guardian to Blythe's adopted 2-year-old daughter, Jonas's little sister.
MY NOTES:
With just a few words, Christine Rimmer had created a strong, vibrant portrait of Jonas Bravo. Within the first half page, his basic personaliy was there for all to see; I was completely amazed. We find that not only is he alone, except for his very young adopted sister, but that there is a big hole in his life. When he was six years old, his baby brother was kidnapped never to be found; his father died within months and his mother fell into such a deep depression that she was hospitalized for four years. Jonas had lost everyone and any security that he had. My heart broke for him over and over. But Emma; well Emma may appear to be little more than a sex kitten, but she's independent, strong and has a heart big enough to heal any hurt and watching as she performs her magic on Jonas was beautiful. In places this story was anything but easy, but it was impossible to put aside and is truly unforgettable.
