Goldilocks and the Three Barons by Nancy Madore, 2008
Copied Blurb:
In this enchanting, erotic bedtime story, busybody gossip columnist Goldilocks, determined to unearth the secrets of three reclusive barons living together in a forest cottage, investigates their home in their absence. Surprised by their return, and fearful of being sued, she goes along with their assumption that she’s been sent by another baron for their entertainment. Soon she is participating in a four-way sexual orgy that initiates her into a new world of intoxicating pleasures.
My Review:
I have really enjoyed Madore's writing style, and this one did not disappoint. Nice and erotic.

The Invitation by Lacey Danes, 2007
Copied Blurb:
Her lover’s gift--a unique erotic toy--was accompanied by an invitation: Wear this gift and meet me on the trail at dusk. Following his direction, she wore no bra or panties under her hiking outfit. As they entered the woods, the anticipation was more than she could bear. Soon their game would begin--dominant man in control of his spirited woman--and she would glory in the intoxicating thrill of submission.
My Review:
Another enjoyable Brief...very erotic.

Soul Strangers by Eden Bradley, 2008
Copied Blurb:
She has come to Veracruz to heal. As the warm water of the Gulf envelops her, the ocean surges, swells, carresses her tender flesh. Suddenly he is standing there--a tanned, muscular stranger, beautiful and masculine, his smile brilliant and warm. She smiles back and he moves toward her. Soon, they touch, fondle, explore one another as the sensuous sea seduces them both. And as the sun descends, they discover new heights of passion and pleasure. Few words are spoken, no names are exchanged…yet for both of them, nothing will ever again be the same.
My Review:
This was not my favorite...not enough story, perhaps?? But I did love the cover

Letting Go by Sarah McCarty, 2007
Copied Blurb:
Marc and Becky leave real life behind for a remote cabin in the woods--no kids, no pets, no television...all they've got to pass the time is a roaring fire, their hottest fantasies and a box of naughty toys designed to please...

Invite Me In by Delilah Devlin, 2007
Copied Blurb:
On a sultry night in the French Quarter, alone in a room thick with desire, she is able to channel the wanton mating of the couple down the hall--each kiss, each sensation, each stroke is as real to her as if she were the one being ravished. In her desperate arousal, she unconsciously calls out to him, until he is at her door, in her bed, knowing fully what she wants and how to satisfy her completely...
My Review:
Very strange, but interesting.
My Rating: 3
I am really enjoying the Brief line. Some stories more than others. It is interesting to see how completely different each story is. I do think I prefer those stories that have a little more relationship to them, rather than random meetings.

spice briefs
Since I've read Forever Yours, Letting Go and Soul Strangers those three I will agree with. And I do find myself enjoying the story more with a little plot to them

I have Nancy Madore's Enchanted
Goldilocks and the Three Barons is in that book. There were a lot of interesting retellings of fairy tales in that book, but Goldilocks and Snow White may be the most interesting of them all.
I blushed when I read the book, but those made me blush more than the other stories.
Laughter is an instant vacation- Milton Berle
Enchanted
Even though Beauty and the Beast and East of the Sun, West of the Moon is in Enchanted I got those first to try Nancy's story before deciding to get Enchanted

Hey Christa and Vikki!
Hey Christa!
I completely agree...it's difficult to enjoy spicy reads without being in the charaters heads at least a little bit.
Hey Vikki!
Now you have me VERY curious! I can kind of guess, and we will see if I am right, how Snow White may go....there are 7 dwarfs, right??
I did buy Enchanted after I read Goldilocks. No since in buying each of the stories as a Brief, if I can have them all at once. I am slowly working my way through the book. I am currently on Cat and Mouse.
Hey Christa!
Same here.....I think I actually bought three of her Briefs before getting Enchanted. I really enjoy her writing style. She tends to pull you into the story right away.
Take Care,
Tammy
