60. Christine Rimmer ~ A Bravo Christmas Reunion ~ SSE #1683 [Bravo Family Ties]

This was one of my two newly bought Bravo Family Ties books from the Silhouette Special Edition subscription that I had.  I'm not really sure just how I came to be collecting books from this saga, especially before I had a clue what the Bravos were all about, but I truly believe that this was serendipitous!   The deeper that I go into this saga, the more I appreciate just what Christine Rimmer has created.  A whole cast of characters that come alive in the pages of the books.  So far there are 21 published and after the next book in the series, that I have, there are only two more of Blake Bravo's sons waiting for their loves.  I can hardly wait!
Will there be more to come after Tanner and Bowie both have their own stories?  Well, as things stand now, I dearly hope so!

FROM the BACK:
WHAT BROUGHT HIM TO HER DOOR...
...Marcus Reid couldn't say.  But then Hayley Bravo opened her door, and he got a good look at her burgeoning stomach! She appeared to be about eight months along.  So was this proof that she'd gotten over him fast...or that they were connected, now and forever?
Months ago Hayley had walked out on Marcus, even though it was the hardest thing she'd ever done.  Because though she knew he'd do the right thing by her, she was holding out for the real thing.  Love.  Baby.  Marriage.  And apparently, in that order...

MY NOTES:
This was another wonderful Bravo Family Ties story.  Hayley was such a loving person, even though she had grown up alone in a series of foster homes.  She had hope enough for anyone, and once she had discovered an older brother, Tanner, and sister, Kelly, she finally began to feel the love and warmth of family.  Even knowing that the man that she loved with her whole heart wasn't going to return her feelings, she didn't bemoan her fate.  She moved from Seattle to Sacramento to be close to her brother and sister and began to prepare for the arrival of her baby.  Only to be surprised when Marcus showed up at her door.
I truly enjoyed Hayley and her siblings; and I loved watching Marcus dealing with feelings that he was totally taken aback by.  I loved the Christmas reunion with all the Bravo cousins and siblings.  And I still feel that, as far as the Bravos go, Christine Rimmer has a lot more in store for us... thank heavens!!

Hey Jeannie!

I've seen her name on a number of books while looking for other Bravo stories.  Another prolific author!
