Until I find some of the older Bravo Family Ties books, or the next new one in the line-up is released, I'll be putting the Bravos aside for awile. But oh, I do love Rimmer's Bravos! I'm especially looking forward to Tanner's, Kelly and Hayley's big brother ~ story (could it be Crystal in his future?) and Bowie... will he and Glory, at long last, make a family for their son. I'm very curious to see how Bowie does his growing up!
I've loved the time spent reading these stories and will be impatiently awaiting meeting up with them again.
RATING:

21st in the Bravo Family Ties saga
FROM the BACK:
Nine years ago Kelly Bravo and Michael Vakulic went their separate ways ~ he to a new name and a new life, she to a family she never knew she had. And then Kelly comes across a tantalizingly familiar photo in the newspaper. Her long-lost Michael has reinvented himself ~ as Mitch Valentine, multimillionaire entrepreneur. As for Kelly, she's got a new name too ~ mother! And a little girl with Michael's eyes...
How can she tell him the truth?
How can she not?
MY NOTES:
When Michael (aka Mitch) and Kelly went their separate ways years ago they were eighteen. It'd been half their lifetime since they'd last been together, but seeing each other again was not as painful as either had thought, or expected ~ at least on the surface. But when Kelly told Mitch about his little girl he exploded. Michael's reactions were primarily of those of an 18 year-old who had felt abandoned and betrayed by the girl he loved with a young man's intensity; a young man who was still hurt that Kelly had chosen her new-found brother over him.
Kelly handled everything with a great deal of aplomb, maturity and understanding. She was a lot more patient with Mitch than I would have been! Their daughter, DeDe, was an absolute joy... her vibrant personality practically leapt off the page.
Definitely another first-rate story in the amazing saga.

There seemed to be enough tension...
..between the two of them ~ especially on Tanner's side. I think Crystal would be good for him!
