That's interesting.  Science fiction is one of my favorite genres and I really enjoyed 7% and Rising.  Time travel, suspense, incredible heat between the heroine and the hero...shadow games and mission impossible "things aren't always what they seem" style. I think Kim nailed it.

I can sympathize on a read not working for you though.  I've had plenty of those, and unfortunately, some that had come well recommended.  It always bums me out.  I've found that I'm really picky about my sci fi and fantasy.  Maybe it's because I'd devoured the genres as a kid.

I hope you get a book you enjoy!
