Kate Hamilton is the American consul in Paris. She goes to dinner at the Russian Embassy and ends up as a hostage along with everyone else. Parker McCall is in Paris and gets the call that Kate has been taken hostage. His mission is to free her without anyone knowing he has been there.
The rescue takes 72 hours and the action is almost continuous. I really enjoyed this story.
