Chantal is a yuppie lawyer, determined to do whatever's necessary – learn golf, help out her boss – to move up the corporate/legal ladder and so she prepares the house for his nephew, her nemesis Cameron Quade. He's been burned by his ambitious ex-fiancée, who had an abortion rather than ruin her career having his child and he suspects Chantal is the same, but neither of them can resist the attraction. Can he convince her ambition is second-best to love and family?
I love Bronwyn's voice and this was as good as I expected, I loved the interaction between Quade and Chantal and the way he grounded her and helped her focus on important things

Can he convince her ambition is second-best to love and family?
Only if he can be convinced of same. Why should she give up ambition if he doesn't?

FF who pushed your irritation button this morning?
He actually gave up his career so he's not preaching what he hasn't practiced, but I hadn't said anything either way
Why didn't you just give him the benefit of the doubt?

Because……
if you give men the benefit of the doubt, they will take you for everything you've got.
Oops! My inner feminist got away from me. In addition, you did say he was her nemesis.

Golf Scene
Loved the golf scene in this book. I still cackle when I think about it.
