Dorian goes home to close up and sell her parents house after they die in an automobile accident and runs into her ex – Raif. They split up after her miscarriage because he thought they were too young. He insists on helping her with her parents' house and she thinks he's unemployed and broke so she offers him a job with her headhunting company in LA, but he wants her to move home. Can they resolve their differences?
All through this she assumed he was broke but something about his manner didn't convince me. However I didn't buy their HEA because they had too many communications problems which would not turn around and solve themselves just like that. So it was a mildly interesting story, but I didn't believe they were in love with each other so why would they stay together for a month, never mind forever?
