Jack is alone on his boat off the Florida coast when Elizabeth drops out of the sky in a hot air balloon which breaks his propeller, his radio mast and leaves them stranded with a storm arriving. What's more Elizabeth announces she's pregnant but there doesn't seem to be a man in her life. Jack blames himself for his crews' deaths the previous year and still hasn't forgiven himself but Lizzie doesn't blame him. They finally give in to the attraction between them but then smugglers decide they're easy prey. Will they survive only to go their separate ways?
This is one where if it weren't for the title we wouldn't have known until the end that Jack was super-rich. For a rich guy his reaction when Lizzie dropped in and ruined his boat didn't seem very typical. I liked the romance and the way they interacted but it was pure escapism, I couldn't really believe this would happen in real life
