Clay discovers Tally is not dead and she needs his help. She pushed him away to protect herself but now children are being abducted and killed and she wants to stop it. She also has a serious medical problem and is reluctant to re-enter his life only to die. Can she and Clay save her protegés with the help of his Clan?
I'd been impatiently awaiting this book and my expectations were high, but still Nalini Singh managed to meet them. Nice suspense in the main story, I liked the glimpses of the Pack and the new information on the Psy, changelings and humans and how they all interact, as well as some history on how they came to be that way.

I just finished this book today and I loved it. I also enjoyed learning more of the history and learning new information. I am also curious about a lot of new characters that I'm sure will be showing up in future books. I can't wait for Dorian's book. The teaser was really good.

waiting in the wings. I gotta do some Harlequin/Silhouette reading to keep my numbers even. I am at 50% right now and would like to get a few ahead.
I get worried about certain books when they get too far in to a series. I always wonder if there's going to be a bomb. It's good to hear that this one is just as good.
